Distinguish ourselves through exceptional customer service

How does staff help the City distinguish itself from other cities? 

There are many ways this happens, but one of the most distinctive is through the exceptional customer service we provide to the community and to one another.  To ensure we continue this trend, and in response to a previous staff survey, a sub-committee of the Organization, Culture and Leadership Committee (OC&L) developed a customer service training program for all city employees. 

The first “People First”, customer service training class was held recently with more classes to follow in the coming months.  The class is a quick two-hours that provides staff with tools on how to provide great customer service to our external and internal customers alike.
