On Wednesday, July 18th, contractors will begin the Civic Center Exterior Painting Project.
This project will last approximately 4 weeks and the work will normally be completed during business hours but will include a few Saturdays as to not impede any Civic Center entrances. Please use caution when walking around the area and pay attention to any posted signage. Our contractors will be doing their best to keep all entrances accessible during the entire project however, advance notice will be given if this changes.
On Thursday, July 19th, the large cypress trees located near the side entrance doors to the Council Chambers and Finance will be removed.
The removal of the six cypress trees from the west side of the Civic Center is due to ongoing damage to the facility’s paint. In addition, the trees are making an ongoing mess in the Town Square and the trees have started to be used by various individuals as storage and sleeping quarters.
Their replacement will be with suitable landscaping. The contractors will begin work at 6 a.m. and the project should be completed on the same day. The side doors into Finance and into the Council Chambers will be inaccessible during this time so please plan accordingly.
If you have any questions or concerns during these projects, contact Lori Hogan at ext 5707 or on her cell phone at 916-517-2717.
