Help us celebrate National Payroll week by honoring our dedicated payroll professionals who make sure you get paid. Across the nation payroll professionals contribute, collect, report and deposit more than $2 trillion, or more than 65 percent of the U.S. Treasury’s annual revenue.
Here, at the City, our team works feverishly behind the scenes to make sure your pay check is timely and as accurate as possible as well as ensure compliance with all the increasingly complex rules and laws. What we do is more than a push of a button. It takes a staff of 4 employee’s days to produce your favorite document every other Friday. Along with many other tasks they spend a lot of their time making sure your PERS and ICMA accounts are up to date so when that retirement date comes there are no delays.
