Help us celebrate National Accounts Payable (AP) week (October 8-12) by honoring our dedicated AP professionals who are some of the most detailed-oriented, process-driven employees at the City. They have to be in order to be trusted guardians of the City’s funds.
The Accounts Payable staff contends with thousands of individual rules, best practices, and processes that amount to the great scope of work it takes to pay suppliers. The AP staff is responsible for paying the right person the right amount at the right time.
At the City, our Accounts Payable division processes approximately 89,000 transactions totaling over $110M dollars per fiscal year.
