As previously completed with O365, Citrix and Global Protect, the City is enhancing user experience and security by continuing the roll out of PingID for single sign on (SSO) and multi-factor authenication (MFA).
The next application to move under PingID is Oracle ERP, with a Go-Live time is set for 5:30 a.m., Tuesday, August 25.
Once enabled, City employees will need to authenticate via PingID in order to have access to Oracle ERP from outside the City network (Staff WiFi or Ethernet). It is recommended staff use the proper methods to access the ERP application and do not try to bypass the MFA method as to ensure their, and others, data remains secure.
For more information on how this change impacts you, review the ERP Process Change document.
In support of PingID Go-Live,
Help Desk resources will be available beginning at 5:30 AM. An all-clear email will go out with an anticipated time of 6:00 AM. If you do not receive this email, please contact the Help Desk.
If you have not registered yet, then there is still time to
complete your registration with the PingID app. Early registration will help ensure you do not experience any complications or service interruptions during the rollout.
For general questions and information, visit the SSO MFA Project Team Site on the HUB. There you will find registration information, FAQ’s and Department specific resources.
