Employee Blood Drive set for June 3 - moved to Maidu Community Center

Updated June 02, 2020
UPDATE: The Blood Drive has been moved to the Maidu Community Center Reception Hall.

Please consider donating blood at our Employee Blood Drive,  10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.,  Wednesday, June 3, at the Maidu Community Center Reception Hall, 1550 Maidu Drive.

Blood donors are needed in the coming weeks to help us stabilize our community blood supply.  Blood donation is an essential health care activity, and it is safe to donate.
  • A designated nurse will be at the entrance of the blood drive to take donors temperature. If a potential donor has a temperature higher than 99.5 degrees, they are asked to donate at another time.

  • Given limited supplies, masks cannot be give to every donor at this time. In order to donate blood donors will be required to bring their own cloth-based face covering.

  • Only healthy people are encouraged to give blood, donors must be feeling well and free of respiratory illness symptoms, including fever to be eligible to donate.

  • Our blood drive set-ups demonstrate social distancing (chairs & beds are spaced out at least 6 feet apart), our staff wear masks, gloves and personal protective gear; they wipe down donor-touched areas often and after every collection using a disinfectant.
