New card readers to be installed in Civic Center

Starting today and continuing over the next couple of weeks, Facilities Services will install additional card readers throughout the Civic Center. Contractors will be on site during normal working hours. Their work will not impede your daily operations and scheduled meetings.

These are the locations of the new card readers:

  • Finance Door that leads into the Council Chambers Hallway. This door currently has a card reader, an additional one will be installed on the employee side that will lock the door during council meetings.
  • 2nd floor HR Conference Room
  • 2nd floor Mayor’s Office
  • 1st Floor Meeting Rooms 1 and 2 – All City Staff will have card key access
  • 1st Floor Council Chambers Conference Room
