In order to maintain a reliable, high-performance data network, the Information Technology (IT) Department has established quarterly network maintenance windows now through the end of 2020. The next maintenance window is scheduled for Saturday, November 16 from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. During this time, the IT department will implement configuration changes to the routing of network traffic on the City’s data network.
As a result, the City’s data network, including the Internet, may experience brief disruptions (5-10 minutes at most) during this time. Please work with your staff to make necessary preparations and, please contact IT if you have any questions or concerns.
In addition, the following dates have been scheduled for next year:
- 2/8/20
- 5/16/20
- 8/8/20
- 11/14/20
Each of these maintenance windows falls on a Saturday. Normally, these maintenance windows will be 4 hours, from 8 a.m. to noon.
