City Manager Casey: Congratulations, the new ERP system is live
From City Manager Dominick Casey

Today is the long-anticipated launch of our new Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, Oracle Cloud. I want to thank our ERP Project Team, Change Champions, and every City employee who participated on the project, along with CherryRoad, our implementation partner, for their commitment and hard work that has led us to this huge milestone.

As you know, ERP has been a key initiative for the last three years to “Modernize and Integrate the Financial and Human Capital Management Systems.”

ERP_HUB 1Moving forward, Oracle Cloud will be the system of record for all financial, payroll, and human resource transactions.

It will serve as a centralized source of data, empowering our staff to minimize manual steps in our processes and have access to a broader set of data we need to make informed decisions.

This ERP Go Live is a tremendous achievement for the Project Team and for the City of Roseville. It represents years of planning, dedication, and hard work.

I know there will be some frustration, as change always brings, as we adjust to new ways of work. But that should soon be overridden when our staff experiences the ways this helps us to be more efficient and effective for the long term.

Thanks for your patience and support, and again, my deep appreciation to our ERP team for your years of hard work.
