Do you know someone who wants to be a part of a team atmosphere, grow their leadership skills and have fun at the same time? If you do, then working in the Parks, Recreation & Libraries Department could be an excellent fit.

Seasonal jobs are open for both the Aquatics and Day Camp programs.

  • Aquatics - Learn a variety of leadership skills while working at one of the three pools this summer. Whether guarding a pool, or teaching kids to swim, there is sure to be lots of great experiences. To reserve a spot at an aquatics assessments, call the Mike Shellito Indoor Pool at (916) 772-PLAY.
    • Lifeguard & Swim Instructor – attend a Pre-Employment Assessment session at the Roseville Aquatics Complex on either:
      • 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 16
      • 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 20
  • Day Camps - Create a dynamic experience for kids, ages 4-14 in a variety of different day camps offered this summer. Field trips, games, crafts and tons of fun.
    • Recreation Specialist - Candidates must be a minimum of 15 years of age and complete the 10th grade by June 2019. One season of experience is desirable. This job is currently open.
    • Recreation Aide - Candidates must be a minimum of 14 years of age and complete 9th grade by June 2019. The job opens today, February 26.
