Two Roseville teams have won awards from The California Water Environment Association (CWEA).
The first award goes to Roseville's Utility Exploration Center (UEC) after it was selected as the winner of the Community Engagement and Outreach Project of the Year for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Tours. This award is for the Sacramento Area Section.
This award recognizes significant achievements in promoting awareness and understanding of water quality issues. The winners of each local section are then judged against each other and a winner for the state is picked, in April. The UEC won the local and state competitions last year!
Rachel Tooker, Melissa Kinsey, Cammie Schmerzler, and Brayden Mitchell. (UEC)
The other recognition was won by Wastewater Treatment Plant Chief Operator Bob Lawerence (EU). Bob received the Supervisor of the Year Award. Congratulations to everyone!
The awards were presented January 18th at Top Golf in Roseville at the CWEA SAS 2018 Awards Banquet.
