For several years now we’ve been collecting office paper from City offices separate from the normal commercial collection. This actually generated some revenue for the City.
However, due to changes in the recycling market, we are discontinuing this effort. We don’t anticipate the current conditions to change in the short-term. If the recycling market changes in the future, we will investigate restarting the program.
Moving forward, please place your paper items into your trash container with the rest of your discarded items. The material will be sorted at the Materials Recovery Facility with our One Big Bin program.
