Watch for new eastbound Interstate 80 on-ramp meters. Caltrans will activate them on June 25. To regulate the flow of traffic onto the freeway, metering will occur Monday through Friday, 6 – 9 a.m. and 3 – 6 p.m. You’ll notice meters displaying green lights on June 18 – 25 to help alert the public of the change.
- I-80 at Auburn Boulevard
- I-80 at Douglas Boulevard
- I-80 at Eureka Road
Existing eastbound I-80 meters that were only active during the 3 – 6 p.m. commute will now also operate 6 – 9 a.m.
- I-80 at northbound Route 244
- I-80 at northbound Madison Avenue
- I-80 at southbound Madison Avenue
- I-80 at northbound Greenback Lane
- I-80 at southbound Elkhorn Boulevard
