Downtown Bridges & Trail Project drawing
It will soon be easier to bike and walk throughout Downtown Roseville. Construction is set to begin on the Downtown Bridges & Trail Project.

Work Schedule
Construction working hours are 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Monday through Friday, from Monday, June 4 to late summer/fall 2019. There may be occasional weekend work beginning at 8 a.m.

Parking
Starting Monday, June 4, the surface parking lot on Oak Street is closed to the public for the duration of the project. Dietrich Drive is also closed to traffic, including the parallel parking spaces. There may be occasional closures of the Royer Park lot adjacent to the Veterans Hall. Please use other public parking facilities in the area, including the Vernon Street parking garage, and the soon to open Oak Street parking garage.

Royer Park & Trail
Construction is not expected to affect the use of Royer Park's playgrounds, picnic area, tennis courts, or ball fields. Watch for bike and pedestrian detours within the park.

Improvements
This project makes the final connection in a 6-mile off-street trail from Sierra College Boulevard to Darling Way. You’ll see the Rube Nelson “Ice House” Bridge refurbished, and two new pedestrian bridges will make it easy to cross Dry Creek between Royer Park and Vernon Street Town Square and the Downtown Library.
