City of Roseville employees saw a golden opportunity in February to aid those in their communities by donating to the 2018 REACH (Roseville Employees Annual Charitable Hearts) Campaign.
City employees pledged $99,393 during the month-long campaign to a variety of organizations. Shriner's Hospitals for Children Northern California, the Placer Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, and the Placer Food Bank were the top individual agency recipients. Community Grants, Inspiration Fund, Operation Swim, and PedalSale, special REACH programs coordinated through the City, received a combined total of $6,144 in pledges.
A total of 305 employees (29%) participated this year. The City Attorney and City Clerk offices had 100% participation. It’s never too late to make your pledge. See your department’s REACH representative or contact Human Resources.
Be sure to check your March 23 payroll statement if you gave through payroll deduction. This will be the first deduction for the 2018 campaign.
